Through the Business Retention and Expansion (BRE) Strategy, businesses across the region shared their challenges, priorities, and opportunities for growth. One of the key needs identified was improving access to capital and making it easier for businesses to find available funding opportunities.
We heard that finding funding can be time-consuming and complicated. Businesses often have to search through multiple websites, review different eligibility requirements, and navigate programs that may not always be easy to find.
To address this need, Fort McMurray Wood Buffalo Economic Development & Tourism partnered with Fundica to create a centralized funding search tool that brings opportunities together in one place.
