I hope you had a fulfilling Thanksgiving long weekend connecting with friends and family. What a great reminder of the importance connections play in our community as well. Here are two highlights from our own connections this past month:

Startup YMM supports local business at Fall Trade Show

Congratulations to the Fort McMurray Chamber of Commerce the success of their Fall Trade Show. As part of our B2C Business Connections Program, we hosted cohort members to exhibit their businesses. Exhibiting at these events can be a new source of lead generation and new customers for our Startup YMM members. Missed the tradeshow? Bringing local marketing professionals together

There is so much talent in this region. We hosted marketing and communications professionals from over 10 major organizations in FMWB to help each other grow stronger online communities. The guest speaker discussed social media growth and engagement tactics, and there was a buzz amongst attendees sharing their own expertise. We look forward to more in the future!

There are also major community events coming up including the Fort McMurray Chamber of Commerce Business Awards and the Buffy's: Wood Buffalo Excellence in Arts Awards. Tickets can still be purchased for both!
