Join the Rumble Alberta Touring Challenge This Summer
Rumble Alberta is a province-wide campaign, designed by the Canadian Motorcycle Tourism Association, that challenges Albertans to safely travel across the province and support local attractions and businesses.
“Tourism related businesses continue to be one of the most impacted sectors,” says Kevin Weidlich, President & CEO of FMWBEDT. “We are proud to be a part of this campaign as it is designed to support communities and local businesses.”
Rumble Alberta encourages couples, families, and individual travelers to complete routes with different challenges and points of interest safely and while following all public health guidelines.
“We’re excited to promote the routes that start and finish in our region and encourage residents and visitors to explore our big backyard as safely as possible this summer,” says Michael Sieger, Vice President of Tourism for FMWBEDT. “We will be proudly highlighting local attractions, businesses and experiences that can only be had in Fort McMurray Wood Buffalo.”
As COVID-19 provincial restrictions evolve over the period of the campaign, we will adjust what types of attractions or locations we are promoting. The challenge begins May 24, 2021. Routes can be followed for FREE, but to score points, win prizes, and access all of the special discounts and promotions, you must purchase a $100 event pass.
